What is the Food of Love?

WHAT IS THE FOOD OF LOVE???
Well I think it is all relative don’t you?  This week in the Kitchen I think
Burgundy and Oranges and Beef all combined and prepared
into a Classic
Daube de Boeuf Provencal …
Just might be love ….or is it Chocolate…

Well it makes for a very romantic finish that is for sure!
So we are cooking with friends, sharing our version of Love recipes ….
and all having such a good time.  This month we will post the Valentine Menu in full on the Website and our own recipe for "Beef with Wine".

But can I get a little serious for a moment….
Real love is that person who completes you,
it is those children who make you thankful every single day
you were brave enough to have them!
It is the friendships that are the gifts of life;
it is the brothers, the sisters and all the people
who have blessed your life and taught you to throw your arms wide open
to all the relationships you can handle…
and I believe the human capacity is infinite….
Love is made from yesterday’s memories and
the ability to celebrate in creating new ones.
So from me to you…..celebrate in the blessings of your life…
please find joy in the simple things…
like sharing a meal with those you treasure….
Be blessed,
your friend Terri

THAT IS ROMANCE

What is Romance?  It is the special person you enjoy being with among all others, it is the friendships that make an evening a little more special, it is the dining on food lovingly prepared, it is the wine that heightens the experience…oh and  it’s the lights…don’t forget the lights…when the candles glow the world sings…last but not least, it is the Music!
Stroll with us as we celebrate in “That’s Romance” written by our friend Michael Thomas and produced, engineered and vocals by another good friend Michael Miller….we think they have captured the mood just right…
That’s Romance!  Enjoy…this youtube video is also available on our video gallery site..

We shoot - We SCORE!

We had a very "hard day" at work today...our goal was to "Shoot" fabulous photos of  original recipes and dishes created here at the Kitchens Bounty.  We have prepared so many of these fabulous dishes at our Classes and Specialty Events...but we are on such a Mission to plate food beautifully, present food hot and fragrant, that we often are not able to take great photos in the moment.  So today, we set aside time to prepare and plate the following Recipes:
Bacon Wrapped Fresh Pineapple with a Tomato/lemon dip, Rum Glazed Baby Carrots with Golden Raisins, Pineapple Curry Rice (so wonderful with our tropical menus), Lemon Rice with Baby Peas and Parsley, Seared Salmon Kabobs, Cranberry and Tangerine conserve, and last but not least, delicate stuffed dates...and old traditional recipe that we call our "Belle Dates" with an updated version featuring delicate Goat Cheese.  All in all.... one heck of a day.
But as this team knows...when we shoot - We SCORE!  The plates shown are samples of what we could not bear to throw away...a delicious reminder of a "hard days' work". These dishes do not flow together...but they are a sampler of fabulous taste...and just might be dinner tonight!
Best wishes friends and we hope you are lucky enough to have a great reminder of your hard day's work!
